Now Through January 1: SPCA Lights on the Bay

Lights on the Bay is a scenic drive along the shore of the Chesapeake Bay with more than 60 spectacular animated and stationary displays illuminating the roadway. Sandy Point State Park, Annapolis. $15 per car.

November 22 - December 24: Christmas Village in Baltimore

West Shore Park at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor will be transformed into an authentic German Christmas market during Christmas Village in Baltimore. Admission is free on weekdays; outdoor area is always free. Admission to the heated festival tent on weekends is $5 (under 18 free).

November 23: American Indian Heritage Day

The Cedarville Band of Piscataway Indians returns to London Town for the annual celebration of native peoples. 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Historic London Town and Gardens, Edgewater, MD. Included with general admission.

November 23: Blue Friday

What are your plans the Friday after Thanksgiving? Join our Blue Friday movement! For one day we're taking a break from holiday shopping to get down to the water with family and friends. You can take a boat ride, go fishing, or simply take a walk along the waterfront. The main thing is getting outside on or near the Chesapeake Bay rather than going shopping. Tag us in your photos on social media and use the hashtag #bluefriday for a chance to be featured in PropTalk!

November 24: Middle River Lighted Boat Parade

The Mid-Atlantic’s largest lighted boat parade! Beginning by Stansbury Yacht Basin and along Wilson Point at 5:45 p.m. Middle River, MD. 

November 24: Christmas Lights on the Choptank Boat Parade

Deck your hulls for the first annual Choptank boat parade at 4:45 p.m. in Cambridge, MD. Any size or type of boat welcome. Line up starts at 4:15 p.m. in Cambridge Creek behind the Boathouse at Yacht Maintenance Co. Route will pass Long Wharf and Great Marsh Park. Register by November 20: [email protected]. Rain date November 25.

November 25: Piney Point Lighthouse Museum Holiday Open House

12 to 4 p.m. at the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum and Historic Park in Piney Point, MD. Enjoy children’s activities and more at the opening of the holiday exhibit inside the museum and keeper’s quarters. Free admission and free refreshments.

November 25 - January 6: Chesapeake City's Winterfest of Lights

Month-long holiday event with Victorian Candlelight House Tour, horse-drawn carriage ride, Dickens carolers, ice-skating, holiday lighting, and a Christmas Tree made entirely of crab pots. Chesapeake City, MD.
