Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) has introduced a new 24-hour outdoor digital information kiosk at the Visitors Center. Located at 26 West Street in Annapolis, between the Ellipse parking area and the side entrance to the building, the kiosk provides an additional, always-available tool for visitors and residents to discover everything the destination has to offer. As part of VAAAC’s ongoing mission to welcome, inform, and inspire travelers, this new resource expands access to visitor information and enhances the overall experience for anyone exploring Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
The new kiosk—provided by True Omni, a leader in interactive visitor engagement technology—offers around the clock access to dining options, hotels, attractions, parks and trails, transportation resources, parking information, and more. Its intuitive touchscreen design ensures that users can easily explore the region’s experiences at any time of day, enhancing accessibility and convenience for all.
“Today’s travelers expect information on demand—and now they have it,” said Kristen Pironis, CEO of Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. “This kiosk lets visitors instantly explore Annapolis and Anne Arundel County the moment they arrive, day or night. It’s another step toward a more accessible, responsive visitor experience.”
While the kiosk offers 24hour digital support, the Visitors Center remains open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center continues to be staffed by knowledgeable and welcoming volunteer specialists who curate personalized itineraries, offer insider recommendations, and assist with planning during operating hours. The kiosk complements this in-person service, ensuring that visitor support extends well beyond the building’s doors.
The installation marks another step in VAAAC’s commitment to enhancing visitor services and ensuring that Annapolis and Anne Arundel County remain welcoming, easy to navigate, and rich with opportunities for discovery. To learn more, visit vaaac.org.
