All Weekend. It's fast, it's loud, it's on Solomons Island. What more could you ask for from a powerboat race. This is the last Chesapeake regatta of the season so don't miss it. New this year is the SOGP Bar tour, with food and drink specials at four different bars, sounds like a party.

Youth Fishing Seminar Series: All Tackle Annapolis Thursday 6-7 p.m. Walleye Pete will be giving a free talk on jigging and casting techniques. Walleye will begin talking at 6 and pizza will be served at 5:30.

Annapolis Maritime Museum kayak paddle: Sunday 3-5 p.m. A great way to explore Back Creek and Spa Creek. This guided paddle tour will cover maritime history of Annapolis and the native flora and fauna of the creeks. The tour is free for museum members (with boat rentals $10 if you need one) and $10 for non-members ($30 boat rentals).

Jane Island clean up day: Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. For all Eastern Shore bay lovers, the Department of Natural Resources is looking for volunteers for its annual clean up day on the beach. Volunteers should meet at the Ranger Julie Schweikert Nature Center at 8:30 am. Volunteers with canoes, kayaks or motorboats are encouraged to bring them.

Fort McHenry Star Spangled Banner Weekend: Celebrating the 199th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore and the writing of our National Anthem Fort McHenry has a weekend full of celebrations. Events include War of 1812 reenactments and fireworks on Saturday evening.
