No good deed ever goes unpunished.
Lakemaid Beer, a microbrewer based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, wanted to help out the frozen yet thirsty ice fishermen. So they decided to utilize the flying drone shipping services offered by Amazon and UPS and started marketing their beer to the men and women freezing their butts off on inland lakes around Wisconsin.
The problem is that for all the talk of drone delivery, it's still technically illegal to use drones for commercial purposes.
"They (the Federal Aviation Administration) think it's a great idea," said Lakemaid's president Jack Supple to
The Verge. "They're just telling me to stop."
We can't wait for the green light.
