Photo by Murphy Brown, courtesy of Southern Maryland News Net Yesterday, fishermen in the Potomac River were trolling near Colton's Point in St. Mary's County, MD, when they discovered an eight-foot Bull Shark in their nets. As of yet it is unknown whether the shark was already dead when the nets were retrieved. This is not the first shark to be caught in the Potomac river and it may not be the last, but in the spirit of sustainability, let's all think about putting shark on the menu for Labor Day cookouts.
