The disabled Greek ship MT NewLead Granadino is currently stuck about four miles from Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The ship with 18 crew members on board was carrying asphalt when it ran into major engine problems. What was supposed to be a one-week voyage soon turned into three weeks, and the Coast Guard has said that the ship can't move until those engine issues are fixed.

Unfortunately, many of the crew do not have visas so they are unable to leave the ship, even for supplies. When Urban Pirates in Baltimore heard of their plight they decided to cruise out to the disabled ship and bring them hot meals.

The Coast Guard says that the Greek company will have to overcome some financial hurdles before it could set sail, which could take months... So Urban Pirates plan on going out every week with hot food until the ship can set sail. For more on the story, click to baltimore.cbslocal.com.
