Eat and Cruise The Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons, MD is offering both a brunch cruise and an evening cruise aboard the William B. Tennison, a nine log sailing bugeye that was converted into a powered buyboat in 1909. The Tennison will depart from the museum at 11:30 a.m. and return by 1 p.m. for the brunch cruise, and will depart at 5 p.m. for the evening cruise and return by 6:30 p.m. The cost for each cruise is $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. The 50-minute tour departs from the Inner Harbor and travels southeast on the Patapsco River towards the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Learn about some of Baltimore’s famous sites from the thrill of a speedboat. And on the Seadog, every day is dog day, so bring them along and dogs ride free! The hour long tour will begin at 2 p.m. and is included with museum admission; no reservations required. Get up close and personal with 100 years of naval service and learn about the real Old Navy. She is currently at City Dock in Annapolis and will be in Baltimore Father’s Day weekend, June 19-21. The Hermione will make several stops along the East Coast from Virginia to Nova Scotia, before heading home. Check online for her full schedule and list of events. Get ready to see ospreys and their chicks up close as you paddle an undisturbed tributary of the Chester River. On Saturday, June 27, the theme is oysters and Indians.
