Havre de Grace is celebrating their annual Seafood Festival this weekend, and while we're always looking for a good excuse to go to something like this on a warm Saturday, the fact that it's in one of the most beautiful places in the state doesn't hurt. But then, to our delight, we saw the menu for the festival. Holy hades, people. Is this for real? Or did I die overnight and this is what heaven looks like? Because I swear there were angels singing when I heard that. In addition to all the rockfish baskets, pit everything sandwiches, crab dip, -balls, -melts, -nachos, and  everything else you could imagine, The Oak Ridge Boys are playing. We're happy to see this because we know it's going to be a rockin' time (and we're so happy they aren't bringing in a 'tween boy band...thank you, festival organizers). There will be great vendors with everything from hammocks to beer, as well as over 20 bands to keep you on your feet and entertained. The weather should be awesome, so bring the kids and hang out for a bit. The festival is free, so bring a big crowd and make a full day of it. The summer will be over before you know it, and it's weekends like this one that will make memories that stick out.
