While the Eastern Shore is quite beautiful in many, many places, the lengthy stretches of U.S. Route 50 sometimes can get a little, well, boring. Especially if you make the trip like PropTalk does a few times a month.
So imagine our surprise when we saw a black helicopter hovering only 60 or 70 feet off the ground alongside a set of power lines on Thursday. Looks like the pilot is responsible for keeping the helicopter on station within a foot or two while a technician performs maintenance on the pole.
Hard not to think about what might happen if something goes wrong, isn’t it? Perhaps life behind a desk isn’t so bad after all.
