Holy smokes! The Maryland DNR reports that on November 30, recreational angler Bradley Smith caught a 51 inch rockfish trolling in Eastern Bay. According to the Maryland Anglers Log, "This fish was caught on a spoon attached to an umbrella rig. It took about 20 minutes to reel the fish in and actually bent the net in half when we were netting it. Shortly after a few pictures and measurements, the fish was released back into the water. It quickly and strongly swam back into the water."
